From the Keyboard of James White….
I know, I know, it’s been forever. It’s not like I haven’t been busy, though! Allow me a few moments to get everyone up to speed on happening with Alpha and Omega Ministries.
First and foremost, I’m not alone here anymore! That is, as of January 5th, Richard Pierce, our long-time, faithful President, has come on the staff of Alpha and Omega Ministries. Rich has longed to enter the ministry, and I sure have needed the assistance. Of course, this requires us to provide a means of supporting him financially. Please pray about how you can be a part of helping us continue to expand our outreach and provide even more solid information to those who need it most.
As you can see from our main page, I spent a lot of 1997 writing. My new books have opened even more avenues of ministry and evangelism, and 1998 looks like it will only be bigger. Here are some things to be praying about and looking forward to:
New books, including What’s with the Dudes at the Door? (co-written with Kevin Johnson, a youth-level book on cults), Mary—Another Redeemer? (both these books due out in April/May), and The Forgotten Trinity.
More information on the web site. With Rich here now, we will be able to keep the website even more up-to-date, with new articles and information on a regular basis.
Exciting outreach opportunities, including our semi-annual missions work in Salt Lake and our annual outreach in Mesa.
Major debates. Right now, I am scheduled to debate Jesuit priest and scholar Mitchell Pacwa on the topic of the Papacy on Long Island April 21st, 1998. Tapes (both audio and video) will be available. (For debate information, call 1-516-789-0910).
So keep us in your prayers as we launch into 1998, thanking God for 15 years of ministry, and waiting expectantly for great things in the coming year!
