I was going to do things the opposite direction, but Rich’s call got me onto the topic of Molinism, so I spent a good portion of the first hour responding to Zachary Lawson’s comments found here. Then I moved over to reviewing Michael Rood’s comments about John 6:4, found here. A bit eclectic, but hopefully helpful!

First DL in a while, so callers took precedence. Discussed a wide variety of topics, with one half-hour call on King James Onlyism, one call on the distinction between latria and dulia in Roman Catholic theology.
Started out with a clip from Patrick Madrid attempting to get around the presence of non-Roman Catholic teachings in patristic sources, and then finished up listening to the Infidel Guy and Bart Ehrman.
I was sent a link to the…talk Ergun Caner gave at a church Sunday, December 10th. I just can’t bring myself to calling this string of jokes and stories a sermon, I’m sorry. I’ve heard real sermons, and this isn’t one of them. In any case, I played just a few minutes of that, and then answered various e-mail questions
A very enjoyable program today. I started out talking about the upcoming Newsweek hit-piece, and then we took calls the rest of the hour. The first caller and I had a great discussion about the doctrines of grace, proving that it can be done without the rancor some always bring to the discussion! I include the video of that call
