Started off with a brief discussion of the necessity of grace in Reformed theology, and then took a 30 minute phone call from an Arminian/Open Theist in London, and then took a call from an objector to Biblical inerrancy. We may try to do the DL sometime on Thursday, if my Internet connection is good enough, we will see.
Well, it was raining in Phoenix today (don’t worry, it won’t be raining tomorrow!) so, our phones went nuts. So, we could only take Skype calls, but that’s OK, it worked out. I started off with some quotes from a fascinating Brigham Young sermon wherein he said he had not read the Bible for years and taught the Adam God

Then we got serious and read through a Soteriology 101 article and dealt with its man-centeredness. Finished off with an RNS opinion piece that alleged that
For the first half hour we played Hank Hanegraaff’s comments in which he said I twist people’s words to make them say the opposite of what they actually intended, and responded. In the second we read through part of Jonathan Merritt’s defense of Jen Hatmaker and once again wrestled with the issues that compromising Evangelicalism presents to us today. Here
