On Thursday's DL
07/27/2006 - James White
I did as I predicted and reviewed the interview of John Shelby Spong by Barry Lynn, and then took a useful call on a new Watchtower publication's comments on Matthew 24:36. Here is the program.18:33:24 - Category: The Dividing Line - Link to this article -

Back to Normal on the DL
07/25/2006 - James White
Very nice to have the full crew on hand (that amounts to two folks) for the Dividing Line today, and we spent the entire time on phone calls. Discussed sola scriptura and some of my past debates with Patrick Madrid and Gerry Matatics, then discussed a little bit about hyper-preterism and Luke 21, and finally closed with a call on Luther and the bondage of the will. Was nice to have phone calls again! May get back to our review of Mr. Montignoni's "refutation" of "once saved, always saved" on Thursday. Here's the program.15:18:23 - Category: The Dividing Line - Link to this article -

Dave Hunt Weighed and Found Wanting
07/20/2006 - James White
Second solo run and amazingly enough, I got through it again! Played a clip from Dave Hunt demonstrating that once again he simply refuses to either "hear" or is so controlled by his traditions that he cannot hear. In either case, he is far from being able to speak the truth on the matter of Calvinism. Then we continued with our review of Mr. Martignoni and his "refutation" of "once saved, always saved." Here's the program.18:36:39 - Category: The Dividing Line - Link to this article -

My First Solo Run on the Dividing Line!
07/18/2006 - James White
As shocked as some of you might be, not only did I manage to get through today's Dividing Line (yes, I know, the server crashed ten minutes before the end---nothing I could do about that), but I have managed to properly convert files, connect to proper servers, upload the right files, rename the right urls, etc., and here is today's DL! When theologians can manage to do this kind of stuff, well, the world is definitely on its last legs. Anyway, today we listened to a few more of the questions and answers from the Patterson/Mohler discussion at the SBC, and then I began working on a Roman Catholic's discussion of "once saved, always saved."14:06:46 - Category: The Dividing Line - Link to this article -

Paige Patterson Takes Up Whole Hour on the DL
07/11/2006 - James White
I managed to figure out where I left off in reviewing Paige Patterson's presentation at the SBC, so we picked up right there today on the DL. For some odd reason got no calls, took no break, but pressed on for the whole hour on that one subject. And guess what? Paige Patterson mis-quoted a particular verse. Yes, that verse, again! Which one? You'll just have to listen!17:47:28 - Category: The Dividing Line - Link to this article -
