Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah,
The people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. (Psalm 33:12)
Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a disgrace to [any] people. (Pro. 14:34)
The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men. (Psalm 12:8)
