We made both our big announcements today, filling folks in on the upcoming debate with Shabir Ally in May at Biola (date and specific thesis under discussion at the moment) and then spending a good bit of time laying out the November conference, cruise, and debate (see the information in the right hand column). Then we finally got around to

The live debate we will be doing Thursday evening, 8-10pm EST, with Gregg Strawbridge, on the topic of baptism, will take the place of the regular Thursday evening Dividing Line. Almost made it through, but not quite. Spent the hour listening to, and commenting on, the exchange from Unbelievable. I will finish it up on Tuesday.
Started off with a pretty amazing clip from Jimmy Akin that we could very accurately dub, “We Don’t Need No Stinking Bible Verses!” Very interesting commentary. Then we took calls on predestination and election and Islam! I also discussed Randall Terry and the liberal Catholic Church in the US.
