How Christians Grieve

Started off with a discussion of Romans 9 and “prepared for destruction,” and then moved into a brief review of Paul Owen’s “I’m a Calvinist. No, really, I mean it” post on the oxymoronic website. Then in the second half of the program we took calls, the first of which was on critical claims about the Gospel of John.

Today I was joined by Ivey Conerly to discuss the release of our new video, Why I Love Jesus But Reject Islam, posted below. It was great to be able to have this brother and fellow laborer in the Lord on the program, and I can’t wait to work with him in producing 40 Arabic Words, a Christian gospel presentation

Been a bit distracted! On our “let’s move it to Friday” DL I started with reviewing another Dave Hunt example of “Tradition Gone Wild!” Then we continued with Barry Lynn interviewing John Shelby Spong.

As I noted in the previous entry, even well known names are not above engaging in the crassest form of cronyism when it comes to the political machines that predominate in evangelicalism today. Sadly, that same kind of blind political ideology lay behind the seven-sentence Liberty statement released late Friday afternoon. Given that this current chapter in the Caner Scandal
