I am writing a review of LDS author Daniel C. Peterson’s work, Muhammad: Prophet of God put out by Eerdmans (yes, Eerdmans, the formerly evangelical publisher). One of the topics addressed by the book relates to the power of the spoken word in Arabian thought. Poets were particularly potent enemies. Muhammad faced the wrath of a number of them (and
Had our raffle for the Jeffery Rice rebind and the layered cross Rich made right at the start of the program. Then we talked a bit about Jake Brancatella and a situation in his life, and then dove into the many examples of the suicide of the West that came out over the weekend. No ducking, no saying “Oh, that’s the Old Testament, we don’t have
It’s been a few weeks since my last installment in this series. As you can see, I’ve been a bit busy with other topics.
