I often reflect of the passage in Genesis where the two angels are being protected by Lot from the hoard of ungodly men who wish to have carnal relations with them. I am often struck by the sheer disgusting lust that pervades these men that even when they are struck, themselves, by blindness that they weary themselves trying to find the door to Lot’s house.
Now, Lot protected these men and told his brothers not to act wickedly. I find it interesting that when Lot proceeded to tell them not to act wickedly, they not only condemned him for acting as judge against them, but decided to treat them worse then they would the angels of God.
I used to sit and ponder how vile men must be to do and think what they did. I used to contemplate how I had no corresponding reality to comprehend such wickedness…until the 21st Century that is.
WorldNetDaily tells of how some reporters told of Lesbian gangs who have gone out and raped other young females. Experts, such as a member of a Gang unit speak to the reality of these gangs. The reporters had their sources, their experts, their witnesses, and their evidence. The reporters did what reporters are supposed to do: Report without favoritism to the subject of the report.
Instead of the Gay Lobbyists coming out and condemning such acts or finding a way to spin the matter away from this, which is what I would have expected, instead sought to spike the story and intimidated the reporters, waving their hands as with a magic wand, saying that the evidence and experts had no evidence and that such a report further fuels anti-homosexual stereotypes and that ever dreaded idea of homophobia.
Rashad Robinson, GLAAD’s senior director of media programs, called the reporting “inaccurate tabloid journalism” and said it “perpetuates dangerous stereotypes about lesbians and feeds a climate of homophobia, anti-gay discrimination and violence.”
You caught that, right? A gang of girls are forcing homosexuality upon young girls, violating them and doing violence and GLAAD is more concerned that the story will lead to violence and discrimination against gays. The main assertion is that there is no evidence that this is really happening. Of course, when you seek to silence all the evidence against it such can appear that way. And, were this the only time the story occurred, perhaps they could simply claim that WND was out to get them. This would be a difficult sell when it was not WND that first broke the story, given that WorldNetDaily referenced an NBC story that alleged this happening back in 2004.
So, this has been going on for three years at least by a group with the same name. Yeah, no evidence whatsoever. The media which has been ever so faithfully proclaiming the Gay Lobbyist movments talking points suddenly turns agaist them?
Ironically, this group is said to have started as a gay support group when some came in and took over and turned to violence.
Did I say Ironic? Perhaps another term should have been used, for it occurs to me that Scripture is not surprised by this at all:
Rom 1:32 …and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
