Did a jumbo edition of the DL today reporting on my trip to South Africa along with my attendance at the Gagnon/Kirk debate on homosexuality. Spent nearly the first hour on the homosexuality topic (interspersed with comments about South African Rooibus Tea) and then moved on to the Muslim debates in the last half hour.

Yesterday I replied to a number of points raised by Shabir Ally in the “post-debate discussion.” In fact, I rambled on…for an hour on the subject. I promised to post the textual data on one of his assertions from Luke 22, and I will do that later today.
Sort of took a walkabout the first part of the program, discussing Australia and…various things. Then we took a call from Harrisburg on exegesis, then, after the break, Michael, a Roman Catholic from California, called, and we spent the rest of the show discussing prayer to Mary and related subjects.
Today I covered the Sam Shamoun vs. Nadir Ahmed debate a little more in-depth, in light of Mr. Ahmed’s contacting me and my informing him he was welcome to call the program and respond to what I have said about his presentation (the invitation remains open). I played sections from Shabir Ally’s debate with William Lane Craig regarding the nature of God. Then I took calls. I will continue with both Ally and the Bryson debate next Tuesday, and remember, next Thursday we start the textual criticism series.
Briefly commented on Dr. Mike Licona’s “I don’t pay attention to White” statement on Facebook—noting that just a few months ago he paid enough attention to promote a debate challenge from a fellow who was told by God to debate me on Calvinism.
