Pretty well split the program in half, the first being on developments in the ongoing rush to rid Western culture of the last vestiges of civilization and morality, and the second focusing upon Muslim apologist Paul Williams and his comments at Speaker’s Corner in London. We kicked off the TC series today on the DL. Didn’t get as far as I expected, so I will need to finish up a few items on Tuesday before we launch into the texts themselves.
Our ISP is having…issues providing us with consistent internet access. We lost all connectivity about 30 minutes before the DL, but got it back. Then it dropped out five minutes before, so we have called them and they are “sending someone out” (you know how specific that is), so, for now, we are going to try for 3pm our time,
Today we mainly looked at the first chapter of the London Baptist Confession of Faith and its beautiful and important testimony to the inspiration and sufficiency of Scripture. Hopefully encouraging for us all! I did look at a few statements made by folks at the beginning of the show, but tried to keep most of them relevant to the over-all
