A young man has attempted to defend at least a portion of Deedat’s argument on John 1:1, here. But here is a strong illustration of the fact that “a little Greek is a dangerous thing.”
Started off commenting on a number of issues, such as the anti-Christian discrimination of the Mayor of Atlanta. Discussed the radical Muslim murders in Paris, seeking once again to ask my serious Muslim friends to consider what it is about their faith that allows such things (it’s a spiritual issue—can Islam address it?), and I briefly responded to Jason Stellman
Those who have listened to the Dividing Line of late know that I’ve been playing sections of debates featuring, mainly, Sam Shamoun. We played the entirety of his debate with Shabir Ally, and I’ve been listening to a number of Ally’s other debates, mainly while riding medium distance runs on a bicycle (20 to 40 miles or so). Great time

What a day here in Dublin! Got a great night’s sleep after the UCD debate, got my presentation for this evening done, and then met Adnan Rashid for lunch in downtown Dublin. I guess the single theme of today’s Dividing Line was: let’s interact with the world with gentleness and reverence since, well…the Bible commands us to do so.
