Started off with a bit of a discussion on Eugene Robinson’s “divorce” and how a non-marriage’s “divorce” cannot be viewed in the same way as a true marriage’s end. Then we moved on to listen to Ergun Caner, from 2005, absolutely destroy Mormonism—not in a proper apologetic fashion, but by his own unique style of ridiculous and errant assertion and misrepresentation.
Here is a small video version of my opening statement. By using the pause button you should be able to follow my opening statement pretty easily. I hope this is useful to those listening live (or, I would guess, for those who listen later as well!).
Over the past week or so I have recorded an eight-part series in response to Islamic speaker Yusuf Estes. An interesting program today where I spent a good deal of time on John 11 in P45, discussing its meaning and the context. Then I moved to Surah 3 in the Qur’an looking at what it says about Jesus. With that as the background, I made some comments regarding the current controversy and the slanderous attacks being leveled at me
Covered a wide range of themes but tried, anyway, to connect them together. Will let you judge if I succeeded! Discussed a little bit of Peter Enns’ new book, noted Dr. Mouw’s continued white-washing of Mormonism, etc. Toward the end started looking at some Muslim issues as well. Here is the YouTube link:
