You cannot always respond to everything that is said in a debate, especially in closing comments. Shabir Ally made some comments regarding the New Testament’s testimony to inspiration in his closing statements, and Sam Shamoun has taken the time to thoroughly respond to his comments here. I appreciate Sam’s diligence in providing such thorough replies in written form.
Sunday morning I was talking with a brother at church whose heritage is Iraqi, and he was telling me about a YouTube video showing parts of a debate that was very popular in Iraq. The subject? Is the Earth Flat? The debaters are both college professors. The man defending a flat earth does so on the basis of the Qur’an.
A quick post-debate clip from ye olde Casio Audience Cam…an interesting segment from the rebuttal periods. A tremendous day! David Wood did a great job, and all of the Muslims in attendance heard a clear and compelling presentation of the Christian faith, to be sure. More when I get a chance.
