I did. Stupid cat wanted out again. Well, that was after my daughter’s car alarm woke me up. But anyway, I knew about the eclipse, so I looked up, and wearily said, “Cool.” For some reason, I went back inside, got out my little digital camera, and decided to try to take a picture. Yes, I know. That’s dumb. I mean, I didn’t even have anything to lean against to steady the camera, let alone was I going to take the time to get out a tripod. And it is just a tiny digital camera…super thin, no filters, no external lens, etc. I figured, “if it comes out, fine.” Well, it’s fuzzy, of course, but for someone half-asleep, it isn’t too bad. You at least get the sense of the redness of the glow on the lunar surface.
