Live On Air Debate With Roman Catholic Scott Windsor on Bible Interpretation

Thanks for letting us have a little fun with making this announcement. It’s a big one, so we thought it would be neat to get some speculation going. As you know, we announced that John Dominic Crossan will be my debate opponent in Seattle on the 27th of August as part of our Second National Conference. Here are the details.

Since I am traveling and lecturing at the Midwest Center for Theological Studies in Kentucky (teaching a Polemics class for MCTS, the Institute for Reformed Baptist Studies, and the Reformed Baptist Seminary), we will attempt to do a Skype-based DL tomorrow at 3pm EST, 1pm MST, noon PST. I went for the “eclectic DL” today and pretty well managed to pull it off. Started off with a quick review of a comment by Frank Page from Trouble with the Tulip, his anti-Calvinism booklet. I then moved right into a similar error made by Pastor Modene, and then played two clips from his most recent sermon, including his explanation

   I did as I predicted and reviewed the interview of John Shelby Spong by Barry Lynn, and then took a useful call on a new Watchtower publication’s comments on Matthew 24:36. Here is the program.
