I managed to get a good bit of ground covered in the Beckwith/George dialogue today, but once again, over and over again, the centrality of the Gospel, and the shallowness of ecumenism, were illustrated. Important interaction that, sadly, isn’t taking place nearly as often as it should in our truth-starved culture.
After a scheduled debate on the Apocrypha cancelled due to a family emergency James shifts his presentation into a teaching time on the subject.
Finished up the “Debacle at Eerdman’s,” listening to the brave young men from IRR doing their best to expose the redefinition of Mormonism by the Mouw/Millet team. Well done, gentlemen—whether Mouw and Millet hear you, God was honored. In any case, finished up the recording of the discussion.
Spent some time at the start on the rise of woke religion, Pastor Warnock from Atlanta supporting the evil of abortion, etc., but the majority of the program was focused on key texts relating to election, atonement, and salvation, working through issues raised by a discussion I’ve been having with Seth Dillon, the CEO of The Babylon Bee.
