Jumped all over the place today, to be honest, on a number of topics. One was my insistence that you need to buy and actually read, or listen to, Abigail Shrier’s Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters. I can’t recommend it too highly, even though it is not a Christian work, and hence cannot provide the final answers.
Today we mainly looked at the first chapter of the London Baptist Confession of Faith and its beautiful and important testimony to the inspiration and sufficiency of Scripture. Hopefully encouraging for us all! I did look at a few statements made by folks at the beginning of the show, but tried to keep most of them relevant to the over-all
Did a Skype-based Dividing Line from Colorado today, spending quite some time on Ignatius in response to claims by some Muslim apologists about his views. Then discussed some quotes from Bruce Ware on “eternal functional subordinationism” and the entire conflict. Finished up addressing He Who Judges From Afar doubling down on his position. And lots of other stuff thrown in
Today was the last DL for two weeks. We will be back on April 1st (no puns intended). Had lots of calls on a wide variety of topics today, and likewise played two clips, one from Zakir Naik, demonstrating that the normative Islamic apologists either do not understand the Christian faith they criticize or, sadly, do not care to accurately
