Went almost a full two hours today reading through and responding to Frank Turek’s 9/8 article in defense of Andy Stanley’s comments about the Bible and the resurrection. Much important information on the foundational and fundamental differences between the evidentialist/minimalist approach and a full-orbed biblical apologetic. Here is the YouTube link:
Did a special Radio Free Damascus today (so we can do a Radio Free Geneva tomorrow!). Reviewed some comments from Abdullah al-Andalusi in his debate in Dublin with Samuel Green, and then turned our attention to the outrageous misrepresentation of the Christian faith by Dr. Laurence Brown on a recent episode of the Deen Show.
Seems lots of folks were off of their regular schedules today, as we didn’t get much in the way of audience participation, but I still covered a few items of interest, including the Pope’s recent truthful statements against the abomination of “gay marriage,” and then we returned to the long lost Ehrman/Wallace debate in the second half of the program.
We did a special edition of the DL today, a Radio Free Geneva. Started by listening to a caller to Steve Gregg’s show, Rick, who I mentioned in the previous DL. Then I moved on to respond to Steve Gregg’s comments on Romans 9, but, before playing what he has to say, I wanted to work through the text myself. So,
