On Tuesday’s Dividing Line…

Today I was joined by Alan Conner, author of Covenant Children Today: Physical or Spiritual? (2007, Reformed Baptist Academic Press). We took many calls on a wide variety of aspects of the subject of baptism.

Replied to some interesting e-mails at the start of the program, commented briefly on the continuing Ergun Caner saga (and how many of his defenders have become silent in the face of his tacit admission that we were right all along) and then took calls on a variety of subjects. Good to be back for the DL!

We lost our server for the first 14 minutes, but ol’ got us back up and running. Pierre, our LDS listener, called in, prompted once again to defend our Arminian friends by yesterday’s program responding to Dr. O’Guin’s attack on “Calvinism.” Always interesting to listen to a discussion with Pierre on soteriological issues, always coming back to sola scriptura.

Took quite a while to work through a report on my trip to London, Dublin, and Glasgow, and then started to take calls. Ended up with an interesting dialogue between Joseph and Sam Shamoun on the Qur’an, and then, well after the normal stop time, I addressed Peter Lumpkins and others, as promised.
