Going to smuggle an RFG segment into…a bunch of stuff on a mega DL today, so join me at 3pm my time for the Dividing Line!

I really wanted to provide a useful apologetic discussion on the program today, so we started half an hour earlier. I went through some key theological foundations to apologetics from Van Til for the first twenty minutes, then reviewed key elements of the D’Souza/Barker debate. Started off with a discussion of the passing of Christopher Hitchens, then took a couple of calls in divine foreknowledge and some alleged biblical contradictions.

Began with a bit of an overview of last week’s events, and was about to go to the BAM discussion with Akin (having documented that during the second hour of the three hour program Akin had gotten 65% of the time to speak over against my own 35%, which sort of explains why Catholic Answers wants to call this discussion

   We did a special edition of the DL today, a Radio Free Geneva. Started by listening to a caller to Steve Gregg’s show, Rick, who I mentioned in the previous DL. Then I moved on to respond to Steve Gregg’s comments on Romans 9, but, before playing what he has to say, I wanted to work through the text myself.
