Single topic on the DL today…finally got to the Bart Ehrman Issues Etc. interview, starting at the beginning. Got it almost completely covered during the program today. Here it is.
Spent the vast majority of the program reviewing the videos I responded to from Kiev regarding Rick Warren. Since some folks do not follow the blog or FaceBook, and only listen to the DL, I felt it important to address Warren’s claims and statements on the program. Obviously, it was not meant to be. A fairly heavy rainstorm came into Phoenix (we need it, and I love temperatures in the 50s!!!), and in the afternoon our phone lines began failing. Hence, no calls for the DL. I quickly tried to download some clips on the issue of Calvinism and God’s knowledge to play and respond to instead.

Is this some completely misguided group of Islamic radicals who got a misprinted version of Al-Bukhari that included the term “pink” in the description of appropriate facial coverings? No, these are tolerant, open-minded liberal criminals from Michigan who last Sunday stormed a church in Lansing, disrupting the service and in general seeking to create mayhem and blasphemy. Why that church?
By the time I got to the DL today I had already done three hours on the air, so I can’t make too many claims for how coherent I was!
