Then we talked about Dave Hunt’s flipping of Romans 9 on its head. Finally, we took a good bit of time to review

James White, David King, William Webster, Rich Pierce respond to the recent libelous allegations made by Robert Sungenis and Jacob Michael of Catholic Apologetics International in the interview of “MrX” that they published on their website.

Today on the DL we did “Crossan 101,” an introduction, mainly in his own words, to the thought of John Dominic Crossan. Using clips from previous debates I sought to explain the presuppositions upon which he functions, and how our debate in August is going to be just a tad bit on the challenging side. It should not be overly surprising to anyone that given the Ehrman debate is a week from tomorrow that the topic would be…New Testament textual issues! So we continued listening to the Infidel Guy/Ehrman program, this time getting into where the train jumped the tracks, i.e., where the Infidel Guy discovered Ehrman, unlike his other heroes, actually believes Jesus existed!
