We decided to lighten the mood today and spoke with musicians Clyde Bauman and Mylo Hatzenbuhler on the show today. After the interview Dr. White commented on some of the changes taking place in the Mormon church and how they will affect the future of the religion of Joseph Smith Jr.

Continued my review of Dr. Davis’ anti-Calvinism sermon today, but first I reviewed an article on the BaptistFire website (found here) that sets new records in the “double standards” department. Discussed compatibilism, the eternal decree of God, etc., and then Pierre called in for the last fifteen minutes of the program. Here it is.
Went for two full hours today, starting off with Pastor Rogers’ new book, Reflections of a Disenchanted Calvinist as our subject in an hour long edition of Radio Free Geneva. Responded to a brief clip of Dr. Frank Turek talking with Leighton Flowers about Calvinists and evangelism, and then read an article on Pope Francis telling everyone to “go to Thomas.” This led to a lengthy discussion of further developments in the Thomistic Downgrade amongst the Reformed. An hour and 15 minutes.
Evidently a big winter storm is heading my way, but we got a program in anyway, discussing my recent defense of Greg Bahnsen, attacks on religious freedom, and an article on Irenaeus’ view of “apostolic tradition” (found here). We finished up with a discussion from Isaiah 10 and the freedom and power of God in history. We will try again
Took the time to go through the entirety of David Allen’s section on Romans 8:32-34 from both of his published books and to interact with his claims regarding particular redemption. Then we moved on (after about an hour) to talk about Doug Wilson, Federal Visionism, and related topics. About 95 minutes today.
