Took two complete programs to do it, but we finished looking at Zach Lambert’s sermon on “Homophobia and Transphobia,” getting to the part where the Bible finally was referred to: and twisted into a pretzel. It is truly hard to listen to “progressivists” engage in societal eisegesis, but we sure got our fill in today’s 1:50 minute long program.
Started off with some important observations of the current scandal in the Roman Catholic Church (it IS about homosexuality) and then moved on to look at a comment from Dr. Anthony Bradley, finishing with a lengthy discussion of ethnicity in the church (it is being discussed a lot these days!) in light of Brad Mason’s article against “color blind theology.”

A one hour quick episode on my way to the airport, heading to South Africa and London. Discussed the evolving story of the obvious fact that Pope Francis is, well, a bit to the left of center on things, and then spent most of the time looking at the debate between Matt Dillahunty and Mike Licona, allegedly on the resurrection.
Spent a good deal of time on the relationship of time and eternity, and how prayer interfaces with God’s will, and then how all of this is important to the issue of justice. Even got a few minutes worth of interaction with a scene in the final episode of Star Trek: Picard that was actually directly relevant to the discussion
