James White, , Church History, Eastern Orthodoxy, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
As promised I continued in my response to Hank Hanegraaff’s attack on sola scriptura, finishing up the entire video, dealing with a wide variety of issues. Important stuff for those looking at or dealing with Eastern Orthodoxy. May be doing a program again tomorrow.

Catching Up on a Bunch of Articles and Memes
James White, , Christian Worldview, Church Fathers, Church History, Musings, Personal, Post-Evangelicalism, Resources, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Covered the gamut today, starting off with some prayer requests, then talking about kids playing games on the Internet, then looking at a false allegation of “solo Scriptura,” John 6 from a Roman Catholic perspective, and I finished up with a spiritual application of recent events in the life of a little feral kitty named Boo Mamma.

David Allen on Romans 8 Fully Examined; Fundie Calvinists
James White, , Exegesis, Federal Vision, Reformed Apologetics, Reformed Baptist Issues, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Took the time to go through the entirety of David Allen’s section on Romans 8:32-34 from both of his published books and to interact with his claims regarding particular redemption. Then we moved on (after about an hour) to talk about Doug Wilson, Federal Visionism, and related topics. About 95 minutes today.

Aquinas as a Commentator, Doing “Theological Exegesis” on Matthew 24:36
James White, , Church Fathers, Church History, Debate, Exegesis, General Apologetics, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Thomism

What is “theological” or “dogmatic” exegesis? Well, we will find out more as we continue our review and response. But not tomorrow, though we plan on doing

The Corona Mask, Transgenderism, Molinistic Soteriology
James White, , Homosexuality, King James Onlyism, Reformed Apologetics, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Played a fun little ditty called “The Corona Mask” (sung to “The Monster Mash”) and then talked a bit about the global panic we are experiencing. Then transitioned into a discussion of transgenderism based upon a brief conversation between Summer Jaeger of Sheologians and a transgender advocate. Then we played a KJVO numerology video with good ol’ Brother Sluder, and

James White, , Exegesis, Jehovah's Witnesses, Pauline Studies, Post-Evangelicalism, Racialism, Reformed Apologetics, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Looked at Bill Mounce’s article on “whoever” in John 3:16 (a second article, more recent than one I’ve addressed before), then moved on to the sad spectacle of Christians gleefully piling on TMS/TMU, including one graduate going after JM for daring to address the “social justice” controversy.
