There are so many worthless things that take up our days. Put some of them aside for just under an hour and listen, or watch. Don’t do so listening for imperfections, do so listening for words of life. You cannot help but be touched deeply by the words of a dying sister in the Lord. Today is my granddaughter Janny’s 5th birthday! Yay! Has nothing to do with the show but that’s OK. Went through news stories on such topics as Norway criminalizing private comments that would be “offensive” about transgenderism and the like, and then closed up with a run through of Acts 12 and the myth of neutrality.

My time at Greenville Seminary is coming to a close. In fact, I will graduate from this seminary next Friday (Dr. John R. de Witt will give the commencement address). The Lord has used the professors at GPTS not only to shape me theologically, but modeled how to “walk in the same manner as He Himself walked” (1 Jn. 2:6).
Started off looking at Francis’ comment that he hopes hell is empty, and what this would mean to Roman Catholic theology as a whole. Then we transitioned over a Brandan Robertson video in which he shreds the Bible into contradictory strands, something that is all too common in what is called the “Christian academy.”
Last week, the PCA General Assembly met in Greenville, SC. One of the opening seminars included a panel of speakers on the person and work of Christ: Drs. Went for an hour and forty minutes or so and covered a lot of topics, I must confess! Mainly focused on finishing up our response to Jason Breda on John 6 and his confusion about Greek verbs, participles, tenses, you name it. Did that, and then played a clip from Frank Turek claiming Calvinism is contradictory, and then a clip
Covered the waterfront today, so to speak, applying Christian worldview principles to a bunch of stuff that came up on my social media feed, including designer babies, gay mirage, and a bunch of broke wokeness. Started preaching a few times, I’ll admit, and Squirrel did his best to distract me, too, that mischievous little rodent!
