Let God Speak: Hermeneutics
We did a nearly two hour long program today on the issue of hermeneutics, exegesis, tradition, and the current movement in Reformed circles toward the embracing of “the Great Tradition,” “Reformed Thomism,” and “Christian Platonism.” I think this is one of the most important programs we have ever done, and I pray the Lord will bless it to your edification.

A First For the Last Day of 2021!

On the Passing of Robert Reymond
I read with sadness today of the passing of Robert Reymond. I never met the good doctor personally, unfortunately, but our paths crossed literarily. He first provided a thorough and entertaining endorsement of The Potter’s Freedom: The Reformed community has given Norman Geisler a “free” pass for too long with respect to his pronouncements on God’s sovereignty and free will.

Spent an hour and 15 minutes with Dr. Jeffery Johnson, President of GBTS, talking about his new book, The Revealed God (2023). Then I responded to a tweet storm from Stephen Wolfe just this morning and talked a bit about what it means to be “truly Reformed.” An hour and 45 minutes.

Pale Blue Dots, Philosophy, Feser, and Mt. Carmel
Yeah, good luck figuring out that title! Covered a lot on a 100 minute program today, from scientism to the Pullmann/Hess debacle back to Aquinas and the Baptists and finishing up with the “Mt. Carmel Challenge.” We definitely covered the waterfront today!
