Story Time with Uncle Jimmy
James White, , Church History, General Apologetics, Mormonism, Provisionism, The Dividing Line
Started off with reading through the entire Epistle to Diognetus (~135 AD), then going back and making direct commentary on the text as it relates to the unique theory promoted by Dr. Ken Wilson and promoted by Dr. Leighton Flowers. We dove pretty deep into the text and found that the author of the epistle had a very strongly apostolic

Dr. Turek on Calvinism Taking the “Easy” Way, Pope Francis, and Others You’d Never Expect, Say “Go to Thomas!”
James White, , Church History, Open Theism, Personal, Provisionism, Reformed Apologetics, Reformed Baptist Issues, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Thomism
Responded to a brief clip of Dr. Frank Turek talking with Leighton Flowers about Calvinists and evangelism, and then read an article on Pope Francis telling everyone to “go to Thomas.” This led to a lengthy discussion of further developments in the Thomistic Downgrade amongst the Reformed. Xavier Missed the Program!
James White, , The Dividing Line
I’m truly saddened that Xavier didn’t take up my invitation to call the Dividing Line today! Since this kind of falsehood gets passed around like candy corn on the playground before lunch, all Christians, but

Islamic Apologetics and Islamic Apologists
James White, , Islam, Textual Issues, The Dividing Line
Mainly focused on a debate from Melbourne on the Qur’an today, but included a response to Yusuf Ismail’s use of Matthew 10 in the (always) vain attempt to establish the idea that Jesus was ONLY sent to the Jews and that His message was not for all men everywhere. No more DL’s this week…I’ll be at ReformCon tomorrow and Friday.
