Covered a lot of ground today from the RV park outside Columbus, Ohio, including a look at the Son of Man in Mark 9, some preview of the upcoming debate with Peter van Kleeck, some discussion of cultural developments such as Illinois declaring open season on its own citizens, the emptiness of “conservatism” without a real world-view foundation, etc., and
Commented on the Queen’s passing and with her the passing of an era. Then we looked at Colossians 2:9, and then at Walter Brueggemann’s comments on the Bible and homosexuality.
We have no way of knowing what we will be doing for the next few days program wise, but we snuck one in today, looking closely at the infamous Marian prayer going around the net (one I was addressing in the early 1990s). Then we looked at Scott Swain’s comments on divine simplicity and James 1:5.
First hour or so I was joined by Pastor Tobias Riemenschneider, one of the framers of the Frankfurt Declaration (Frankfurtdeclaration.com). We discussed the declaration, its purpose and function. Started off looking closely at Jude 3-5, then moved on to listen to a section of an interview with Carl Trueman, and then brought it all together to respond to the topic of people destroying their credibility by talking about Socinianism.
I drove from Denver to Santa Fe today, set up my unit and jumped on line to address the great dispute that erupted over the weekend. I hope that my comments will clarify, enlighten, bless and challenge.

Started off with something I had not planned on doing, discussing the importance of passing on the Culture of Life, and how this relates to God’s law, the preservation of Scripture, etc. Then looked at some of the zaniness in the “Reformed” world, including R. Scott Clark’s exceptionally hypocritical comments on my response to George Bryson from 2003.
