Thankfully, despite the fact that Western society as a whole has added abortion to the list of “issues that you cannot discuss because we have decided the issue and you just need to shut up or we will punish you,” there are still those who choose to speak out. While we were getting folks in line for open phones I commented for about ten minutes on the simple reality that “open borders” equals anarchy and the end of law, a concept that should not be attractive to any Christian whatsoever. Then we went to the phones to discuss a bunch of deep Trinitarian issues, as well as Eastern Orthodoxy,
Never dreamed in the early 1980s I would someday be doing a live “webcast” (of all things!) from Salt Lake City, but here we are! Discussed the Jackson-Brown issue in light of the Christian worldview and many other related issues. Also listened to Brandan Robertson twist John 11 into a homosexual-affirming pretzel.

Showed a number of screenshots from the many folks attacking us at this point in time and went through them, mainly focusing upon the sad reality of bias, prejudice, and simply bigotry in the “Christian” community. A rather full refutation of the scandalous charges of certain internet apologists and in particular Brannon Howse. Here is the YouTube link:
Was running solo again today but managed to dive into a number of topics as well as get into the original language texts on topics such as Paul’s use of Psalm 2, 8, 110, and the nature of Christ’s kingdom and reign. We also talked a bit about Derek Webb’s deep dive into spiritual darkness, and finished up looking at
Went for a jumbo edition today in the big studio with the big board! Commented briefly about the Roman Catholic penitential procession video that made the rounds a few days ago, then we looked at Stephen Wolfe’s lengthy tweet about the term “worldview” and how we would be better off abandoning it. Hardly surprising, but I disagreed!
Went just over 90 minutes today on the program, wandering about a bit at the start on church history issues and Ignatius, and then moving on to discuss the Andy Stanley comments in the interview with Russell Moore, finishing off with a half hour plus walk-through of 1 Corinthians 1:18ff.
