A Twitter Based Dividing Line

Responded to Michael Brown’s Monday edition of The Line of Fire where he played audience clips and had callers on the subject of predestination and election, etc. I really tried to focus in upon the same issues as the Reformation, asking about not just the necessity of grace, but the sufficiency of grace as well. Did manage to discuss a few other topics at first, including some gay marriage related topics, but spent the majority of the hour looking at this thread from the Catholic Answers Forums, once again illustrating the fact that the folks who regularly frequent such forums just don’t seem to have an overly voracious desire for the truth.

   Though the file is up, evidently, I’m the only one who can post the DL announcements, and since I left right after the program, and then flew up to Salt Lake, no one posted the DL from last Thursday. My apologies, we really need to get some other folks who can do this so that it doesn’t fall through the

First DL in a while, so callers took precedence. Discussed a wide variety of topics, with one half-hour call on King James Onlyism, one call on the distinction between latria and dulia in Roman Catholic theology.

You never know when a program is going to take off…but this one sure did. Went fifteen minutes long, too, just to get all the calls in. Today I launched into a discussion of the background of the term “secularism” and the fact that today’s aggressive version, which has infected Western culture, is totalitarian in nature. There can be no neutrality from its view, or ours. I then walked through a graphic blog presentation of why we should adopt homosexual marriage.
