A purpose driven show today as James starts by discussing an article written by Chris Lehmann entitled “The Book of Numbers – Rick Warren’s purpose driven attack on American Christianity. He then goes on to discuss how the Purpose Driven movement is polluting the church.

I went for the “eclectic DL” today and pretty well managed to pull it off. Started off with a quick review of a comment by Frank Page from Trouble with the Tulip, his anti-Calvinism booklet. I then moved right into a similar error made by Pastor Modene, and then played two clips from his most recent sermon, including his explanation

Started off the program talking to Rudolph Boshoff down in Johannesburg via Skype. The connection was pretty iffy, and you have to listen carefully. But we discussed the state of the church in South Africa. I wanted to clarify a point where we had some audio problems…I was referring to one of the sound churches in SA, pastored by brother

Did a short DL live from Southern California discussing some SBC issues and then taking calls on a number of topics, including supralapsarianism!  Should be back to a regular schedule next week!
