After making the announcement of the Ehrman debate and conference in January of 09, the calls started. So the first half hour is pretty much about the upcoming debate, conference, and cruise, with special guest Mike O’Fallon, and the second half our callers drove the agenda…all over the road!

Today on the Dividing Line we spent about an hour on this video from Steven Anderson, taking a few side-streets along the way, and then moved on to this episode of Reasonable Faith with William Lane Craig. Was joined by Squirrel, aka, Gene Clyatt, from way up in the frozen North.

When the scheduled special guest fell through, the AoMin staff took the opportunity to share more about their experiences witnessing to Mormons. Instead of merely demonizing Joseph Smith, the focus needs to go back the gospel and the nature of God. Sometimes it was bystanders that responded to the truth more than the questioners themselves.
Spent the first part of the program on my upcoming trip to South Africa, London, and Belfast, and then finished reading the Gospel of Thomas (which I had begun a number of weeks ago). Today on Radio Free Geneva I started out with what turned into an almost 50 minute history discussion relating to Augustine and Reformed theology. Then, upon completing that, I turned to chapter 9 in John Lennox’s book, Determined to Believe, and began reviewing his comments on this key text. Got down to verse 40, will continue from there next time!
