Who We are Subject To, and a Response to Jimmy Akin on Pope Francis
James White, , Christian Worldview, Church History, Debate, General Apologetics, Persecution, Post-Evangelicalism, The Dividing Line
Spent the first half hour discussing how Jesus, as King, subdues us unto Himself, and what practical meaning that will have in the coming months and years when Caesar demands our submission to him in opposition of Christ. Then I responded to a statement from Jimmy Akin on the topic of debates and specifically why I believe today’s Roman Catholic

Debate: Can We Trust What the New Testament Says about Jesus and the Gospel? Nadir Ahmed, Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, 3/21/2008
James White, , Debate, Islam

Started off today’s program talking about upcoming debates. Unfortunately, during the program itself, Chris Arnzen got word that Dr. Brownson will not be pursuing the debate on the 16th of September. However, we have another opponent lined up and will be able to give you information on that in a few days. Spent a while responding to portions of a

The Death of Pope Francis, and the Provisionist Gospel
James White, , Church History, Debate, Provisionism, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters
Started off talking about the passing of Pope Francis, but then connected the topic to the Provisionist denial of the need of the supernatural work of the Spirit of God to bring about spiritual life, showing that in reality, Provisionism has a less biblical anthropology than Rome does.
