America’s Response to 9/11 and Comparing Christianity to Islam

   I was riding this morning, pressing on with listening to the 13.5 hours worth of lectures delivered by Steve Gregg on Calvinism, when I decided to do another Radio Free Geneva episode. Since I did not get into the office till late in the afternoon, I had to record it without webcasting it, hence, no announcement here on the blog

James began today talking about the “Passion of the Christ” film and an interview that the director Mel Gibson had on EWTN. Then he moved on to some comments made by Hank Hanegraaff and Amyraldism.

After talking about the upcoming London trip I played Shabir Ally’s opening statement from a debate in 2005 on Muhammad in the Bible, challenging the audience to answer the question, “How would I respond to that?” After Monday, November 17th, you’ll know how I respond to it!

The first half hour today I played a few segments from a, well, discussion, not really debate, between Craig Evans and Rabbi Tovia Singer.  Then we opened the phones and took calls on such subjects as Old Testament salvation, 1 John 2:2, and more! Here is the YouTube link:

Played portions of an Iron Sharpens Iron program from last year with F. LaGard Smith, author of Troubling Questions for Calvinists…and all the Rest of Us. Dealt with issues of God’s knowledge, decree, Romans 9, etc.

Had a great time on the program today, covering three items: first, reminding folks that we now have the great “Read My Book” debate from 2003 available in mp3 format now, here.
