The phones kept me busy all day today on the DL. I did play the Daniel C. Peterson “any time, anywhere” clip again at the beginning, just for the fun of it, but other than that, we took lots of calls on a wide variety of subjects. Here’s the program.

First 45 minutes drew on a number of articles I’ve clipped over the past week on the rise of the Big Brother state.  Big Brother is here…but who knew he’d be gay?  (Actually, Orwell called that one, too: remember that section in 1984 where the was explicit discussion of the destruction of the family in the form of husband/wife relationships

Been a wild day here, as my main computer is down for the count (upgrading issues—all techies understand the issues). Some will want to skip to the last twenty minutes or so…if you lack a sense of humor. Others will enjoy the lighthearted program. I’ve given up trying to please everyone. 🙂

Covered three topics yesterday in a jumbo, fast moving edition of the Dividing Line. First, discussed Joshua Lim’s “conversion” story promoted by the Called to Confusion boys and identified many of the standard “conversionist blindspot” problems that we have seen over and over again with those who think that jumping into the arms of Romanism will give them the certainty

As it turned out, a Mormon that had been refuted by Dr. White’s knowledge of Scripture retaliated by making unfounded insinuations about the validity of his doctorate. Rich Pierce took the opportunity to positively present the benefits of Columbia Evangelical Seminary and its innovate approach to mentoring Evangelical scholars.
