No DL Today: Plague Sweeps A&O Headquarters!

Today I did a DL from Durham, North Carolina. I played a section from the Shabir Ally debate on Monday and discussed the upcoming ministry here in North Carolina.

Jumba/Mega? Well, it wasn’t 90 minutes, and it wasn’t 120 minutes, it was…105 minutes. So, somewhere in between I guess. And even with that, I didn’t get back to Bashir Vania or Yusuf Ismail, so, we are planning on an early afternoon DL tomorrow to catch up! I started off replying to at least the beginning of Anthony Buzzard’s response

I did not intend to spend pretty much the entire hour finishing up our response to Jason Stellman, but I did. TurretinFan did not join me, as I really did not think it would take as long as it did. But, we provided nearly four hours worth of response—a response Jason Stellman says he is not even going to listen

Went just a little long today to get our last caller in on apologetic methodology. Before that, Frank from Dallas had some thoughts on the issue of apostasy and Rome. Prior to that, we discussed a number of issues, including Rome’s view of the gospel, Mormon/Christian dialogues, etc.

Started off with a review of Tim Staples from CA Live on the subject of “eternal security” illustrating the difference between God-centered and man-centered reading of the Scriptures. Then we moved back to Shabir Ally’s objections to the concept of atonement.
