Spent some time on Surah 18:27 and then read Peter Leithart’s strange article on Roman Catholicism and Protestantism and then took calls on justification, textual families, and the like. Hope it is helpful!

Yeah, I know. I did warn everyone beforehand saying this would be a seminary-level program, and, well, it was. Just a little discussion of today’s journey and where I am before getting into Gregory’s confession of faith once again. For some reason I really felt like I need to provide a lot of background information today, so, I did. After
Started today’s program off listening to a clip from The Deen Show presenting a 4 minute twisting of Matthew 7 by the late Ahmed Deedat. Then we listened to a few minutes of a sermon by Adam Hamilton at the 2018 Uniting Methodists Conference on having a “high view of Scripture” and yet accepting the profaning of marriage. Then we
Tale of two programs today as for the first half hour we considered the daily onslaught of secularism’s acidic destruction of Western society and life itself, and then switched gears to consider the newest edition of Credo Magazine and its full-throated promotion of, and defense of, “Reformed Scholasticism.”
As the video I posted earlier documents, I took the first quarter of the program to discuss Steven Anderson of “I Hate Barak O’Bama” fame, then took some calls and played more of William Lane Craig’s defense of Arminianism.

Started out reviewing some of the comments of Lawrence Krauss and William Lane Craig from Australia today, as featured on Unbelievable. Had to take time to interact with Craig’s “God didn’t do the Canaanite children any wrong because they all went to heaven” defense once again showing that where you start theologically will always, always determine your apologetic argumentation. Then
Today I was joined by one of our Team Apologian bloggers, TurretinFan, to discuss the issue of the atonement and those who attempt to expand the ranks of those who deny the intentionality of the Trinity in accomplishing a perfect atonement (aka, “limited atonement”).
We launched into our on-line Christology lecture today, covering such things as the Athanasian Creed, the Symbol of Chalcedon, Apollinarianism, Eutychianism, Nestorianism, etc., over the course of about two hours and twenty five minutes. I truly hope the program will be educational and edifying for those who take the time to listen. Not your normal Christian podcasting, but then again,
