Took the time to go through the entirety of David Allen’s section on Romans 8:32-34 from both of his published books and to interact with his claims regarding particular redemption. Then we moved on (after about an hour) to talk about Doug Wilson, Federal Visionism, and related topics. About 95 minutes today.
Took a great call on OT studies and the general slide into liberalism in that field, played a section on the Islamic view of intercession and how Islam parallels in Muhammad many of the key offices of Jesus, and finished with a call on the topic of inerrancy and textual variation.
Started off briefly noting Peter Lumpkins’ absence (fully expected of course), then took some quick calls on a wide variety of topics, including a discussion of the high priestly work of Christ and an upcoming debate with atheists. I then moved into reading a large portion of chapter 4 of Love Wins, illustrating the man-centeredness of the Arminian fundamentalism that
