A Mega Dividing Line with 50 Minutes of Open Phones
James White, , Atheism, Christian Worldview, Exegesis, General Apologetics, Islam, Pastoral Theology, Reformed Apologetics, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Theology MattersToo many topics to even start to list, but mainly in the opening I discussed the upcoming debates in South Dakota and London, then discussed a meme Ijaz Ahmad posted over the weekend, and then read all of William Lane Craig’s answer to a very insightful question sent to him. James White, , Christian Worldview, General Apologetics, Islam, Reformed Apologetics, The Dividing LineFor the first 45 minutes we played a video from a Muslim asking a question about the Trinity based upon how the Holy Spirit “overshadowed” Mary. James White, , Christian Worldview, Personal, Post-Evangelicalism, The Dividing LineToday we were joined by Asa Miller, former SEAL and one of the primary people in the new documentary SEALS Beat Biden which comes out next month. We talked about a lot of things, and it was an enjoyable conversation. Then I went over Michael Riley’s post which appeared on the G3 website and I found most useful.
Response to Dave Hunt Article on Calvinism
James White, , The Dividing LineWhile some of Dave Hunt’s apologetics work makes good points, on this issue he agrees with Rome, and follows Norman Geisler on rebranding synergism as a soteriological middle path. London Televised Predestination Discussion #6
James White, , Reformed Apologetics, The Dividing LineContinuing the discussion from back on May 16th in London on predestination. I actually got to make a comment on the universalist caller here as the first hour came to a close. Tony Lane of the London School of Theology had to leave after this portion, so the rest of the discussion was between myself, Edward Buama, and the callers.
Secularist Supremacy and Molinism
James White, , The Dividing LineYeah, there’s a combination! Actually, the first half hour we reviewed some amazing stories about how the secular left pretends to be so inclusive and freedom loving but is in fact utterly demanding of our fidelity and obedience. But then we moved into my review of recent William Lane Craig clips, first from a Sunday School class (where he promoted
