Well, you can see now what our major announcement was, and I’m truly excited about it. I took the first half hour to make the announcement and play some comments from Shabir on the issue (there are a number of his presentations on the topic available on line at places like YouTube). Then, in the second half hour, I may have once again proven that I am far too naive for my own good. I played portions from the video that was being discussed, and is now becoming, sadly, a bone of contention, in the blogosphere, found here. I then interacted with them as fairly as I can.
I have seen some comments being posted on this topic that truly trouble me. Why can’t this issue be discussed without the personal shots, the disrespectful statements? I truly do not understand it. Let’s hold ourselves to a higher standard, brethren!
