Just in time for that hard-to-please person on your gift list…I mean, hard to please Calvinist on your gift list! I first heard this phrase from my fellow elder at PRBC, but Google tells me he didn’t invent it. I have no idea who did, but I sure use it enough, and the Scripture reference, at least, is mine. Any
A number of times I have had students and staff from Liberty ask me a question something along the lines of, “So, why worry about this Calvinism stuff? Does it really matter?” Aside from the issues we addressed in our gift to the students at Liberty (found here), there is another example to be offered in answer to the question.
I noticed him sitting off to my left. A photographer with a big camera and a big lens. I really did not give it much thought, though, it was a bit unusual. I was focused on other things, so by the time I got to my hotel that night, I had pretty much forgotten about it. Until he contacted me

We had the largest group on the Veendam, 149 folks in all. Here’s the group picture from formal night. As I mentioned, I hope to play a few clips from the Spong debate tomorrow on the DL. But one of the comments he made that really caught the attention of many was his repeated assertion that everytime, during the audience
The Internet is such a huge “place.” It takes forever to clean up evidences of your past—if you are trying to do that, anyway. I was just referred to this press release on Ergun Caner’s own website (better click fast, it will be gone before long!). Note this further example of the mysterious “misstatement” that Ergun Caner seemed to me
